![]() ![]() Don't want to waste another respec but I'm hammer'd out. A serene sense of lucidity eases the minds of those within, giving them the freedom to focus on individual tasks despite the chaos and distractions of battle. Those within the sphere of influence of this skill gain the gift of clarity. Don't think if I can spend another 40 levels spamming hammers over and over. Concentration is a Paladin Skill in Diablo II. I also hate how you can absolutely empty a room in seconds of monsters, yet you'll drink like 4 mana pots casting those stupid hammers trying to kill ONE monster. Usually by the time I'm level 40 with a character I'm quite invested but with this Hammerdin I'm just like yaaaaawn. Not to mention I go through a belt of 12 mana pots after clearing like one level of an area. This means I have painstakingly calculated the value of every last skill and stat point invested in my paladin. As this paladin levels up he will have the most possible hammer damage at every level from 18 and up. I'm level 42 and casting this one spell ad nauseum is just I don't know, not fun. The principle behind my Hammerdin build is to maximize Blessed Hammer damage at the lowest level. but the novelty for me has worn off extremely quickly. I get it, high magic damage and AoE, very simple build to follow, the hammers look cool. Want to see what all the craze is about and ok. ![]() ![]() But after playing on and off for 20 years I'm finally trying my first Paladin with the aim of making him an Smiter Ubers farmer when he reaches lvl 85, playing as Hammerdin along the way. Sorry Hdin fans, we've all got different opinions obviously. ![]()
